How to update PrestaShop using the 1-Click Upgrade / AutoUpgrade (Update Assistant) module.

- Update without manual file replacement.

Prerequisites
- Full backup.
- Back Office access.
- Maintenance mode.
- Module compatibility checked.
Quick diagnosis (before you change anything)
1) Verify hosting resources
Expected result: enough time and memory for the upgrade process.
Update with 1-Click Upgrade
Step 1) Enable maintenance mode
Enable maintenance mode.
Step 2) Open the module and review options
Review backup/rollback options if available and enable them when appropriate.
Step 3) Run the upgrade
Start the upgrade and wait until it finishes.
Step 4) Verify and disable maintenance mode
Test the store and then disable maintenance.
Final verification
- Version updated.
- Front and admin stable.

Process fails due to limits
- Ask hosting to increase limits.
- Consider upgrading on a VPS or higher-resource environment.
